  ABOUT US!

The Barrie Bad Boys are a group of guys from the Barrie area that live to foot. It all started in the spring of 2001 when Dan Carr searched the city high and low for some fellow footers to ski with himself and sons Tyler and Brett. After a few phone calls he was able to track down a couple of brothers, Scott and Andrew Imrie.

The first summer was a learning experience for all, from learning techniques and new tricks to learning about each other. Through out the summer the Boys would try a few local tournaments and clinics and met more enthusiasts for the sport.

It wasn't until 2002 when Doug Hibrant started to slide into the picture more often, and why not? With Dan quickly rising to the top of the Men's 3 division, Doug was destined to see this perfect training lake where Dan was mastering his newly acquired skills.

Towards the end of the 2002 tournament rumours of an end of season Endurance Race were in the air. Quickly the talks in the boat shifted from Scooters no fear style footing ability to putting a team together and make a run for the title. And seeing the enthused faces in that boat we knew we already had a team, a team of equals. Equal in skill, knowledge and determination.

The Barrie Bad Boys were formed!

Since that time the BBB have had great success individually and as a team, and would love to share their experiences with the rest of the barefooting world. With the help of this website, they intend to give insight to barefooting in Ontario and the rest of Canada. From tournament schedules and results to pictures and messages.
